Having ceiling fans is a necessity nowadays. With the growing number of big fans in homes, people have discovered the benefits that they come with. During winter, they help circulate the warmer air in the room, whereas in summer, they complement air conditioners by maintaining a cool breeze. Installing crestarfan.com.sg ceiling fans at home is easy; simply follow these steps:
Turn off the electricity, then remove the glass shade from the light fixture. Detach the accessory from the ceiling by unscrewing the nuts that hold it in place.
If the old electric box is nailed to a joist, force it open with a flat bar. If it is hanging from a bar, you first have to take out the metal plate to unbolt the nuts, then wrest the bar from the truss. Grasp a thick pancake box alongside the ceiling centered on a beam and sketch around it. With the help of a drywall saw, cut along the sketch. Remember to catch the dust using a vacuum cleaner.
Make sure that there’s a cable connector that connects to the knockout hole. Move the electrical cable which runs from the ceiling via the knockout hole in the pancake box. Fix the box in the cut hole through the ceiling and force it on the underside of the beam. Fasten the box to the beam with the screws. Using a drill, drive in the screws.
Smear a small amount of urethane-based glue on the backside of the ceiling medallion. Flip the wires through the medallion then position it on the pancake box and fasten it to the joist. Fix the nail heads and seal with a spackling paste.
Grasp the metal ceiling plate against the pancake box and draw the wires through the middle hole. Fix the ceiling plate to the box with bolts. Make sure to paint the medallion before fitting the ceiling plate.
As the fan lies on the floor, feed the cables running from the motor through the middle of the canopy. Fit the canopy over the motor, then flip the wires through the down-rod pipe. Loop the down-rod tube to the top of the motor. Fasten the square-head using a wrench to secure the bolt on the side of the pipe. Do not peel the coating on the pipe as it helps secure the tube from unbolting.
Attach one side of the covering to the ceiling plate. With the help of twist-on cable connectors, connect the two green wires with the uncovered copper wire running from the cable. Link the two white wires and bind the two black wires. Swerve the fan to place against the medallion and lock it with the two canopy bolts.
Link each fan blade to iron, then secure the irons to the motor with the given bolts. Push the light-fixture casing to the wire suspended from the motor’s underside. Mount the light bulbs. Secure the remote control’s plastic holder onto the wall alongside the switch on the wall.
I know absolutely nothing about roof repairs so I was totally lost when I felt water leaking on my head as I was having lunch. Luckily, Cain Scaffolding and Roofing took my call right away and addressed the problem. Now, I call them any time I have problems with my roof.
What I love about this company is that they’re so professional and so passionate. I had a really bad leak in my roof when I came home at night. I called them up to schedule a repairman to come over and take a look but they told me they’ll be there in about 2 hours! They examined my roof and got the problem fixed right away. I didn’t have to wait for the next day for repairs
I needed some maintenance work on my house’s roof because some parts got damaged in the last snow storm. They fixed the broken parts and went out of the way to do extra after service.
